Brixham
No matter what time of year you visit Brixham, there’s always something happening in this busy, pretty little fishing port. The summer months see Fishstock and the Brixham Regatta attract hundreds of visitors to the town, whilst regular arts and crafts markets held throughout the year offer plenty of unique shopping opportunities for both visitors and locals.

Pirate Pranks
The world-famous Brixham Pirate Festival takes place every year around the early May Bank Holiday, and you can’t move in the streets of the town without bumping into a rascally rogue!
The event is renowned for its Mile of Pirates and Biggest Gathering of Pirates – if you’ve got an eye patch, a bandana and a ‘cutlass’ then come along and join in!
Take to the Water
As life in Brixham revolves around the water it’s no surprise to see a host of maritime events in the town. Look out for BrixFest in May, incorporating the Heritage Festival, and the Trawler Race in June, when the huge modern fishing trawlers race across the bay.

South West Coast Path
If you are looking to take in a beautiful view on an afternoon stroll, or for a challenging hike, the South West Coast Path National Trail offer both.
The trail travels for 630 miles from Minehead in Somerset to Poole Harbour in Dorset.
